The French Bakery in Lafayette holds birthday tea parties for the special girls in your life (and who are at least 5-years-old).  The children are served darling teapot-shaped sandwiches, scones, carrots and cupcakes.  Instead of actual “grown up” tea with caffeine, the children can choose herbal tea, lemonade, hot cocoa or hot apple cider.  Party packages range from $22 to $25 per person.  5 guest minimum, 24 max for all French Bakery parties.  71 Lafayette Cir., Lafayette. The Lindsay Wildlife Museum offers party packages that are sure to please nature and animal lovers of all ages.  There are packages designed for the 3-year-old to 9-year-old group, plus packages geared towards the 10-year-old to 15-year-old crowd, too.  Parties run for 2 hours and you can select from themes such as mammals, reptiles or prehistoric survivors, depending on your crowd.  The museum will provide a private party room and decorations. Want to incorporate some real party animals into the mix?  Sienna Ranch offers a variety of party packages. Guests at the horse-themed party groom horses, take part in an art activity and enjoy mini riding lessons. Cake and presents cap off the fun.  ($355 for 3 hours and 8 children + $25 for each additional child; recommended for age 7 and up).  Archery parties include basic instruction and technique before 30 minutes of individual shooting time, followed by games and competitions. Want the animals to come to you?  The Oakland Zoomobile is always a hit with children and adults, plus is sure to make you the talk of the neighborhood!  Children must be 4 or older and they will be introduced to 4-5 small animals brought from the Oakland Zoo.  Maximum number of guests allowed to participate is 25; the price range is $225 to $245.
