Why do I need an account?
Your user account allows you to access LamorindaWeb’s unique community features. While you can view most of the site’s content without a user account, you will not be able to chat with your friends, post photos or videos, review businesses, post to classifieds or forums, or comment on articles without a user account. These features are restricted to registered users only for security purposes.
By creating an account, you will also receive our weekly e-newsletter that will keep you in the know on what is new in the community.
How do I create an account?
It's EASY! You can create an account on LamorindaWeb or connect with your Facebook account. To connect with your Facebook account, click on the Facebook button on the homepage.
To create a LamorindaWeb account you can either
A) Click on the "Join" button located in the upper left of each web page, or
B) Go to "Community" page and click on the "Join Us Now, It's FREE!" button.
Once you clicked the join button, you will be on the registration page. Please enter your name and email address, create a password and verify that password by entering it a second time. Once you have completed those fields you will need to agree to the user Terms & Conditions. To continue, click “Next”.
You will then be prompted to enter some basic information about yourself. You may enter as much as you like. Only fields that are marked with an asterisk are required to join. Once you have completed the form, click “Register”.
You will then be given the option to upload an avatar. You can skip this step at this time as you can always add or change your profile picture once you are logged in.
After this step has been completed, your account profile has been created and a message will appear confirming your registration.
You will also receive an email confirmation from LamorindaWeb.
Congratulations! You have now joined the LamorindaWeb community! To start enjoying the site immediately, enter your email address and password into the log in box on the upper right hand corner of the page and then click the “Login” button. You will be immediately directed to the “Community” page where you can connect with friends, chat, and see the latest activity on LamorindaWeb!
How do I request my forgotten password?
If you have forgotten your password, you can request a login token by clicking on the icon in the upper right hand corner of the home page next to the login button or by clicking on the “Forgot Your Password?” text on the log in box on the “Community” page.
You will then be instructed to enter your email address and click “Submit”. This will send an email with a login token which you will then need to enter in the next screen. Once you have retrieved your login token from your email, enter your email address and copy and paste your login token on the “Confirm Your Account” screen and then click “Submit”.
You will then be prompted to reset your password. Click submit and a message will appear confirming that your password has been reset. Once your password has been reset, you can then log back into the site using your new password.
My account login was denied, help!!
Your account has either been blocked or you have not activated your account yet. Check to make sure your account was activated correctly by reading the activation steps above. If you are sure your account has been activated correctly, but can still not get in please email the webmaster at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
